Living Water’s Foundation
To remain faithful to an evangelical statement of faith as embodied by that of CCC&C
- We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God and that they are the only certain rule of faith and practice.
- We believe in one God eternally existing in three Person: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is truly God and truly man.
- We believe in the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sin, the resurrection of His body, His ascension into heaven, and His visible and future return to the earth, and that salvation is received only through personal faith in Him.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and that His ministry is to glorify Christ by the regeneration, justification, and glorification of God’s people.
Living Water’s Mission
By the grace of God the mission of LW is to equip the saints in matters of faith, spiritual disciplines and the development of spiritual gifts by the following means:
- To develop spiritually mature men and women through corporate (church worship, fellowship, prayer meetings, participation in the sacraments, Sunday school and Bible studies) and individual (discipleship, service and personal devotions) means so that they may glorify God by becoming more Christ-like (1 Timothy 6:11).
- To encourage, train and provide opportunities for the good news of Jesus Christ to be made known to the campus community and the community at large (Matthew 28:19-20).
- To equip members to become leaders within the Kingdom of God so they may train others to do the same (Titus 2:1-8).
- To be a ministry of encouragement to each other and to those in need of physical, spiritual and emotional support (Hebrews 10:24-25).
