Living Water Christian Fellowship was founded in the Fall of 1981 by Ted Lee. Lee was raised in Philadelphia and Chinese Christian Church & Center, and returned to Philadelphia to attend Penn Medical School after undergraduate studies at Yale. It was during his time at Penn Med that Lee decided to informally begin the college ministry we know now as Living Water. Today, nearly 18 years later, Living Water is still serving as a college ministry reaching out to undergraduates all over Philadelphia.
