About

WHO WE ARE.

Living Water Christian Fellowship is the college fellowship of Chinese Christian Church & Center (CCC&C), located in Philadelphia’s Chinatown. Our fellowship is made up of students from Drexel, LaSalle, Penn, Penn State-Abington, Temple, UArts, and USP. We welcome all undergraduates, regardless of your background, so please come and join us. We would love to meet you!

Please read our Vision Statement and Statement of Faith!

On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
- John 7:37-38

2009-2010 THEME: MADE TO LOVE
For this academic year, the theme that we have chosen is “Made to Love.” We plan on learning about God’s love first semester, and then applying these lessons second semester. The theme’s verse is 1 John 4:16b: “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”

  • Prayer: We have prayer meetings on Thursday nights at 8 PM on Penn’s campus.
  • Investigation: We have small group Bible study on Friday nights starting at 7:45 PM at 10th and Spring. We also have a freshman small group, Freshman of God or FOG, that meets on Tuesday nights in Mayer 302 on Penn’s campus at 38th and Walnut.
  • Fellowship: Before and after small groups on Friday nights, we have large group worship time and fellowship time. Also, on Sunday mornings we have our worship service at 11th and Vine starting at 9:30 AM.

Hi and greetings from Campus America!

We are searching for students and faculty who will pray, and who might be interested in the vision of Campus America, an initiative of 24-7 Prayer. Will you please help us by putting this email into their hands?

Campus America is a simple call for a connected, unbroken Year of Prayer in 2010 (spring 2010, fall 2010) on every college and university campus in the U.S., to give every student the opportunity to experience the presence of Jesus.

Campus America is not a new ministry or organization. It is a part of the massive wave of 24-7 prayer that has swept across the face of the earth over the past decade. Campus America is a simple call for a connected Year of Prayer that begins on the 1st of January 2010 and ends on New Year’s Eve. We are sending out a faith-stretching invitation for students on every campus in the U.S. to participate with at least 72 hours of united, non-stop prayer. What happens as a result of such an unprecedented wave of prayer is really up to God.

Of course we applaud whatever steps you take to see united prayer increase on your campus. We know the battles and the obstacles are real and some things just take time. But we also know that our God does the impossible! For some of you, finding space for even 12 hours of prayer will be a miracle!

The Campus America website
We want to point you to the Campus America website. Here, you’ll find Stories of prayer from students, a Calendar of who is praying now, a 6-minute Film sharing the heart of Campus America (we super encourage you to take 6 minutes to watch this – it’s worth it!), and through the website you can be directed to the Facebook Fan Page and to find Campus America on Twitter.

Get connected now!
Sign Up to be a User of the site. At the most basic level, this ensures that you receive a bi-weekly e-newsletter called An Unbroken Voice, keeping you up-to-date on the Campus America movement. In addition, you’ll be able edit your campus’ Wiki Page and get connected to others on your campus who also want to pray. If you’re a mom, dad, church or ministry leader or other non-student, consider Adopting a Campus!

Is your campus ready to pray 24-7 in 2010?
If so, please consider a further step of becoming a Campus Catalyst. This is the point person on your campus for Campus America, who says, “I will do whatever I can, with His strength at work in me and as I’m led by the Holy Spirit, to be sure my campus is praying 24-7 at some point during 2010.” You can also register 24-7 prayer dates for your campus, which will show up on the master Prayer Calendar.

A team of us are here to pray for, encourage and connect you with the people and resources you need to obey God for your part in His story on your campus. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

For a transformative revelation of Jesus on campuses, from here to the ends of the earth,

Dear Brothers in Christ,
Receive our Christian greetings from Kenya in the gracious name of
our beloved Holy one the Lord Jesus Christ from whom we are forgiven and
saved. I am greatly blessed and feel privileged
to know you through your website, learnt about your faith and your
desire to serve God.

I am an independent fellowship church group in Kenya desiring to be
established in your church ministry. I am independent in that I am
without any cover; I’m not under any mission, ministry or church
organization.

I pray that through God’s Holy Spirit at work, that you shall
appreciate my interest and desire that I might find a definite spiritual
partnership with your church ministry.

May God richly bless you as I look forward for your feedback?

Yours in Christ
Pastor Ferdinand.
